These Glowgetters are more than just volunteers—they are aestheticians, yoga trainers, meditation practitioners, and hairdressers who have joined us because they believe in the profound impact of their work. For them, this is more than providing a service; it’s about fostering healing and transformation for women who need it most.

What is a Glowgetter?

A Glowgetter is someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others. Our Glowgetters bring their unique skills to women living in domestic violence shelters, helping them rediscover their beauty, confidence, and sense of self-worth.

Through facials, yoga sessions, guided meditation, and hairdressing, our Glowgetters provide more than just physical transformations. They create safe spaces where women can begin to heal emotionally, rebuild their self-esteem, and embrace a brighter future.

The Healing Power of Giving Back

The heart of Glow Forward lies in our founder, Sabrina Morales, whose care and compassion for women facing difficult circumstances inspired the nonprofit’s creation. Sabrina realized that healing doesn’t happen in isolation—it thrives in connection. By offering compassion and care to others, we find healing within ourselves.

This ethos has drawn Glowgetters from all walks of life to join our mission. Each service they provide is infused with kindness, empathy, and a genuine desire to help women rediscover their glow. But what makes their efforts truly remarkable is that they often find healing in the process, too.

As one Glowgetter shared, “Helping these women heal has reminded me of my own strength. It’s a gift that goes both ways.”

Since our founding in December 2024, Glow Forward has already started to create a ripple effect of empowerment. Each Glowgetter’s act of kindness inspires the women they serve to believe in themselves again. In turn, those women carry their newfound confidence into the world, inspiring others in their own communities.

Through this sisterhood, Glow Forward is building a movement that proves healing can be contagious. By fostering a community of Glowgetters, we’re creating a world where empowerment is passed from one person to the next, one act of care at a time.
